Richard B. Dasher, Ph.D., chairman of the board. A 1973 graduate of Valdosta High School, Richard now directs two research centers at Stanford University, where he teaches (among other things) courses in international technology management and entrepreneurship. As a management consultant, Richard advises major corporations in the US, Europe and Japan about doing business in Japan and Asia. He also serves on the management council of one of Japan’s leading national universities, and he is an advisor to several start-up companies in Silicon Valley, Japan, and China.
Larry S. Thomas, president and CEO. Larry brings almost 40 years of experience in managing auditoriums, arenas, stadiums, and convention centers in Valdosta, Miami Beach, Richmond VA, and Niagara Falls NY. He has set up transportation systems for many conventions and trade shows as well as the Park & Ride System for the Miami Dolphins. As producer of the Miami Rock Festival in 1969, he managed the move of 138,000 people from the parking areas to the festival site and back, with no private vehicles allowed in the festival site.
Donald L. Seat, Ph.D., CPA, chief financial officer. Don is Professor of Accounting at the Valdosta State University Langdale College of Business Administration, and he has maintained a professional practice as a CPA for almost 30 years with clients in six states and foreign countries. He has served as a participant and site coordinator for the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for 26 consecutive years.
Robert Padgett. Robert has been with Ryder Truck Rental for 30 years and holds a degree in diesel mechanics from ABAC in Tifton.
Vance Hiers. Vance is the president and owner of United Irrigation Supply in Quitman, GA, as well as being an investor in Pearl Executive Shuttle.
